I could never get my breakfast porridge right..I know it’s super basic but I couldn’t figure it out; it was to thick or to watery or not cooked enough.. until I met Monica. Post-Monica porridge hits the spot. Every time.
Water : Oats = 2 : 1
Bring water to nearly boiling point.
Put in oats and stir.
Simmer while stirring until no water is felt.
Add a slice of butter, cover the pot and let it sit for 2min.
Add fruits, nuts and milk to your liking.
